Subscription Information: If you subscribe to Cleario Pro, we store your subscription status, the renewal/expiry date, and an Apple-provided transaction identifier used to validate your subscription. Payments are processed by Apple — we never receive or store your card or payment details. Dietary Preferences: Such as vegan, vegetarian, or other food-related lifestyle choices you voluntarily provide in your profile. Allergens & Health Conditions: Specific allergens (e.g., nuts, dairy, shellfish) and any health conditions you select to personalize your experience. IP Address: Collected to determine your general location (country) for language, translation, and recommendations. Device Information: Includes a device identifier for feature management, and — if you enable notifications — a push notification token used to deliver them. Scan History: Images and image data of the products that you scan. We do not collect or store payment card details (these are handled entirely by Apple), and we do not request personal identifiers beyond those described above.
We use your data for the following purposes: - To personalize product information and highlight potential allergens or dietary conflicts. - To improve our service, including recommendations and translations. - To store user-defined preferences (e.g., vegan or custom ingredient triggers). - To send you notifications you have opted into, such as product safety and recall alerts. You can turn these off at any time in your device settings. - To comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse of the platform. - To deliver content in the appropriate language or region.

To analyze product labels and generate summaries, scanned images and the text extracted from them are processed by trusted third-party AI providers (including Anthropic and Groq) solely to deliver the App's features. These providers act on our behalf and do not use your data to advertise to you or to train their models.
